  • Acceptance

    Making a booking with Adrienne Levonian for a workshop or training is taken as acceptance by the participant of these Terms & Conditions.

     

    **NOTE for the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, please refer to the specific T&Cs pertaining to that event, as set out in TWM_YTT_booking payment and cancellation policy. Please ensure you have read that document fully before confirming your place on that Training.**

    Deposit

    A non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking, to hold your place on the workshop / training.

    Balance of payment

    For Standard Price bookings, your balance of payment (the total cost of your workshop / training, minus deposit paid) is due one month prior to the workshop / training start date,.

     

    For Early Bird rates, your balance of payment due date will be stipulated at the time of booking. Failure to make full payment by that agreed date means your booking will transfer to a Standard Price booking, incurring consequent additional cost.

    Cancellation by you

    If you choose to cancel your participation in the workshop / training, your cancellation must be sent in writing to connect@adrienne-italia.com

     

    In all cases, your deposit is non-refundable.


    Should you need to cancel your participation in workshop / training after balance of payment has been made, the following conditions apply:
    **cancellation 60 days or more prior to workshop start date – monies paid, minus your deposit, will be refunded to you
    **cancellation less than 60 and more than 30 days prior to workshop start date – 50% of monies paid, minus your deposit, will be refunded to you. Your deposit and 50% of balance paid are forfeit.

    **cancellation less than 30 days prior to workshop start date - no refund will be made.

    Once the workshop / training has begun

    No financial credits will be issued.

     

    No full or partial refund will be made should you leave the course early.

    Cancellation by Adrienne

    In the highly unlikely event of cancellation of a workshop / training by Adrienne Levonian, any monies paid to Adrienne Levonian will be refunded to you.


    In the case of cancellation by her, Adrienne Levonian is NOT liable for flight costs, or any other incidental expenses – please ensure you are separately insured.

    Method of payment

    Payments are by bank transfer, in euros.

     

    Any currency conversion charges incurred are at the expense of the Participant.

    Insurance

    Participants are required to provide for themselves all necessary insurances against personal injury, loss, damage, theft, cancellation, delay etc. All Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have full insurance cover from the moment that they first place make their booking and covering the whole period before, during and after travel.


    Good travel insurance will cover you against most eventualities, but be careful to read the small print on your policy to be sure. We particularly recommend checking the following areas:


    • that medical cover includes full evacuation and repatriation
    • that it covers charges that you may incur in case of cancellation

    Health

    The Participant must take full responsibility for their health at all times, even if this means inspecting the kitchens themselves.


    Adrienne Levonian takes no responsibility for incidents of food-poisoning, allergies or other illnesses, even where the contamination can be proved to be from a source booked by her.

     

    If you have any particular concerns or requirements in this area, please make specific inquiries before booking your workshop / training, as Adrienne Levonian does not offer any special cancellation terms arising out of any shortcomings in this area.

    Additional activities at Tribewanted Monestevole

    You are aware of the risks of being involved in the activities taking place at the Monestevole farm and that you will behave in accordance with the guidelines given by Monestevole and exempt Tribewanted Monestevole and its managers, Ditta Individuale Filippo Bozotti and Adrienne Levonian from any liability and damage.


    In particular, with regard to the following activities, you confirm that:


    a) horseback riding: that you are an experienced rider and are able to ride and go on excursions.
    b) that you have been informed that Monestevole has a private swimming pool (and as such is not subject to 'duty lifeguard with patent DM 18/03/1996), and that this pool is not under the supervision of a lifeguard. You certify that you are an experienced swimmer, and that children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult fit and able to swim.
    c) that you are familiar about the work taking place on the farm, in the fields and the stables and that you are a willing participant in the activities.

     

    Upon arrival at Monestevole you will be asked to sign a simple Waiver of Liability pertaining to the above.

    Excursions & other activities

    Adrienne Levonian may provide you with information about activities and excursions which are available in the local area. She has no involvement in any such activities or excursions which are neither run, supervised nor controlled in any way by her.

     

    They are provided by local operators or other third parties who are entirely independent of Adrienne Levonian. They do not form any part of your contract with her in any way, even where she suggests particular operators / other third parties and/or assists you in booking such activities or excursions.

     

    Adrienne Levonian does not accept any liability on any basis in relation to such activities or excursions, and the acceptance of liability contained in these booking conditions will not apply to them.

    Liabilities and their limitations​

    Adrienne Levonian promises to ensure that the workshop / training she has agreed to provide as part of her contract with you is provided with reasonable skill and care.


    She does not accept responsibility for any services which do not form part of that contract.


    In addition, regardless of any wording used on this or other websites, in any of our brochures or elsewhere, Adrienne Levonian only promises to use reasonable skill and care as set out above, and has no greater or different liability to you.


    The promises she has made to you about the services she has agreed to provide or arrange as part of the contract - and Italian law - will be used as the basis for deciding whether the services in question have been properly provided.

     

    If the particular services which may give rise to any claim or complaint complied with local laws and regulations applicable to those services at the time, the services will be treated as having been properly provided. This will be the case even if the services did not comply with the laws and regulations of the country of origin of the Participant, which would have applied had those services been provided in the Participant's home country.

     

    This term also includes where the claim or complaint concerns the absence of a safety feature, since some safety features that would be taken for granted in other countries may not be provided as a matter of course in Italy.


    Adrienne Levonian does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, expense or other sum(s) of any description (1) which on the basis of the information given to her by you concerning your booking prior to her accepting it, she could not have foreseen you would suffer or incur if she breached her contract with you or (2) which did not result from any breach of contract or other fault by her or, where she is responsible for them, her suppliers.

     

    Adrienne Levonian does not accept liability for any business losses.

    Force majeure

    Adrienne Levonian does not accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations under our contract with you is prevented or affected by, or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of, force majeure.

     

    In these terms & conditions, force majeure means any event which Adrienne or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside her control.

    2 Contract
    These Terms & Conditions refer to a contract made between the Adrienne Levonian and you, the Participant.


    3 Legal Jurisdiction
    Italian law will apply to the contract and to any dispute, claim or other matter of any description which arises between us. All parties agree that any dispute, claim or other matter of any description which arises between us must be dealt with by the courts of Italy only.
